Lefkada
Surrounded by 24 islets, including the famous Scorpio of Aristotle Onassis, Lefkada is connected to the opposite stereo-Helladitian shores by a floating bridge (50 m long), which makes it easily accessible to its visitors. It has essential attractions, churches and monasteries, picturesque settlements, dense vegetation, impressive bays with clear blue-green waters, organized and deserted beaches of fantastic beauty, high cultural tradition, and hospitable residents.
Capital and port at the same time, the city of Lefkada is characterized by a unique urban structure reminiscent of a "herringbone." Beautiful alleys, small squares, traditional houses, ornate bell towers, and paved sidewalks make up the city's character. Lefkada is surrounded by the fairway and the lagoon, while further north lies the fine circular line of the sandy beach of Gyra with its few trees and mills.
