Our adventure begins with a journey through stunning landscapes with tall black pines, streams, and high peaks. Our first stop is Valia Calda, the core of the National Park, where we will embark on a hike to the natural pools of the Arkoudorema stream. As we hike through the wilderness, we'll take in the awe-inspiring beauty of the surrounding nature.
Once we reach the natural pools, we'll take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters and soak in the peaceful surroundings. After our swim, we'll head back to our vehicle to cook up some delicious traditional meals using fresh local ingredients. Our culinary delights will be the perfect treat to refuel us for our next adventure.
Next, we'll make our way to the picturesque village of Vovousa. Here, we'll take a break and relax by the tranquil waters of the Aoos river, under the bridge of Vovousa. For those who love swimming, this will be an excellent opportunity to cool off and enjoy the natural beauty of the river.
Finally, we'll visit the breathtaking Lake of Aoos Springs and explore the incredible mountain landscapes around the lake. The views are truly spectacular, and we'll be sure to take plenty of photos to capture the memories of our unforgettable adventure.
